The 2010 Minnesota Mine Safety Association and MSHA sponsored Start-Up Seminars will kick off this coming February in Marshall Mn. on Tuesday February 9^th. Three more seminars will be held in February: Hinckley on the 11th, Mahnomen on the 23rd and Bloomington on the 25th. The National Meeting and training Seminar of the Joseph A. Holmes Safety Association will be held in Viginia Beach, Va. June 7-10 2010.

A warm welcome was extended to the two newest members of the MMSA Leadership committee at the September planning meeting in St Cloud.

 Heather Planting, D&G Excavating and Brian Knutson, Hardrives Inc. are the newest additions to the MMSA community. In addition to providing input and direction to the association as a whole, both Brian and Heather have elected to join the 2009 start-up seminar program committee.
